Claudia Santoni, Phd in Sociology, Lecturer, Dept. Education, Cultural Heritage and Tourism, University of Macerata. Between 2000 and 2004 and between 2005 and 2009 she had got a research grant at the University of Macerata. Since 2004 is contract professor in Sociology of Family at the Faculty of Political Science. Research interests are immigration studies, family, social identities, narratives. Her current research is the study of  gender differences and of reconcilation policies. She is an elected member of Scientific Committee of the Italian Sociological Association Section "Gender Studies". She is the President of the Gender Observatory. Among her publications: C.
